Welcome to SouthPoint Church's Children's Ministry page! The Children's Ministry at SPC is designed for students pre-K through 5th grade. The Children's Ministry area is located in the South end of our facility, and includes a registration desk to the right of the main lobby where you can drop off your child for the morning. Sunday mornings at the SPC Children's Ministry are exciting times, as you can usually tell by the yelling and singing that can be heard from the halls on any given Sunday morning. The children begin Sunday morning with a time of games, crafts, etc to help reinforce the lesson of the morning. For this part of the morning, children are split up into different classrooms by age and gender. After this, all of the Children meet for Children's Church and worship where they sing, see puppets, do large group activities, etc. Sunday morning serves as the primary environment for our children where they not only will hear the truth of Jesus, but just as importantly, they will remember it because of the fun they had!

On Wednesday evenings at 6pm, children have their own Journey Group while the adults meet. In their Journey Group, the children participate in fun games and activities for the first half of the group, and they finish each week learning one Big Idea about God. The goal is that they will leave knowing that One Big Idea well, and that they will leave having had a great time. When the children have a lot of fun they are more apt to learn the spiritual lesson well.
